Planning advice for temporary buildings and temporary warehouses

Spaciotempo are now offering a planning service !

With our constant endeavour to improve the service quality of Spaciotempo, we have just launched a brand new Planning Service.   This critical addition to our service portfolio will give customers the opportunity to pass on the time consuming logistical headache of planning applications over to us.

The service will be carried out by our expert town planning partners 'Mosaic', who will liaise directly with us throughout the application and we will then manage the planning process with clients as part of the overall building project.    More information available here.

The best advice anyone can give you is to apply for your temporary building planning permission in good time and if you are in any doubt visit your local planning advisor.

Our Technical Sales Team is always available to help with temporary building and warehouse plans, drawings and technical data in support of your application.

Permission, usually takes a minimum of four weeks, but can take longer depending on when their planning meetings fall.  Local authorities are helpful and cooperative particularly in emergencies.  At the end of the day planning for a temporary building generally means local business is growing!

Our energy efficient insulation systems, recyclable components, choice of wall colour and soft profile air-filled roof are all aspects which assist with the planning process and should be mentioned.   We can help with plans and documentation for submission.

Some basic rules are:
• Planning is required after 28 days.
• There is no temporary planning available.
• As stated in the 1996 planning act, planning is not required if a refurbishment is taking place.
• Emergency buildings still require planning, although, in the event of a real emergency situation, it may be obtained once the building is in place.
