Q. Can you give us an idea of the costs involved ?

Q. Do you need planning?
A. Not unless you want your temporary building or warehouse to be erected for more than 28 days. See Planning for more info.

Q. What are your temporary buildings made of?
A. Frame - heavy duty aluminum with a ten year guarantee.     Walls – either single skin steel, sandwich panel steel with 2” of insulating foam, or 100% recycled and recyclable polymer composite.  Roofs – tough PVC Polyester membrane, either single or double skinned and air-filled.

Q. What's the security like with your temporary buildings?
A. Our temporary buildings have even been officially approved for high security warehousing - so you can't get better than that. Our rigid tempAwall® cladding has been further upgraded with steel reinforcement. A choice of security alarm is also available.

Q. What kind of ground surface is suitable to build a temporary building on?
A. All we ask is that the surface is firm and flat – tarmac, concrete or hardcore are the most common. We have a variety of fixing mechanisms to suit different sites and situations.

Q. How are the systems fixed to the ground?
A. We use a captive bolt system at 5m intervals. Each anchor is pressure tested for uplift. This configuration maximises anchorage whilst minimising disturbance to the ground.

Q. What are the running costs like?
A. Not a lot more than conventional buildings. The energy savings from our energy efficient buildings more than makes up the little extra used to drive the pneumatic insulated roof system.

Q. Is there a choice of sizes and options?
A. Temporary buildings are available in widths of 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 metres, side heights up to 6m (with 7 and 8m on special order).   Length is unlimited in 5m multiples. Custom-built sizes are available to order. We also offer a comprehensive range of options from roller doors to heating and lighting.

Q. Can you provide plans or visuals?
A. Yes, we will provide you with all the plans and drawings to help you make the right decision and assist with your planning process.

Q. How soon can I have a temporary building ?
A. We can often have a building installed and fully operational within 48 hours; particularly in the event of an emergency.
